Christmas Mojito Recipe
If you’re on this page, I don’t need to remind you that Christmas Mojito is a refreshing cocktail that adds that Christmas vibe to the classic mojito you’ve always known. I make mine with fresh mint, lime juice, white rum, cranberry juice, and sparkling soda water, all of these make it have a lovely balance of citrusy, sweet, and slightly sour flavors. I don’t really need to be introducing you to Mojito or even this Christmas mojito because chances are you already know or have had it. My goal is to guide you through my steps of making a truly refreshing Mojito cocktail that is perfect for the coming Christmas season.
My recipe takes just under 10 minutes to be ready, and like already mentioned, you don’t need anything more than very basic cocktail ingredients.

Christmas Mojito Recipe
Equipment
- Cocktail shaker or sturdy glass
- Muddler or wooden spoon
- Jigger or measuring cup
- Citrus juicer
- Two serving glasses
- Long cocktail spoon
- Small knife and cutting board
Ingredients
- ½ cup white rum
- ½ cup cranberry juice
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 12-15 fresh mint leaves
- ½ cup soda water or club soda
- 1 cup ice cubes
- ¼ cup fresh cranberries for garnish
- 1 lime sliced, for garnish
- 2 fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Muddle the mint:
- Add the fresh mint leaves and sugar to a cocktail shaker or sturdy glass. Gently muddle them together to release the mint's fragrant oils. Avoid crushing the leaves too aggressively, as this can make the drink taste bitter.
- Add the liquids:
- Pour in the white rum, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Stir or shake briefly until everything is well combined and the sugar has dissolved.
- Prepare the glasses:
- Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes. You can use tall mojito glasses or any clear glasses that show off the beautiful cranberry-red color.
- Pour the mixture:
- Divide the cranberry and rum mixture evenly between the prepared glasses.
- Add the soda water:
- Top each glass with soda water or club soda. Gently stir with a cocktail spoon to combine without losing too much carbonation.
- Garnish and serve:
- Finish each glass with fresh cranberries, lime slices, mint leaves, and a sprig of rosemary. Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.
